Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of  the Circular Economy  concept in the management of goat manure waste into compost fertilizer in Wil Komposter, identify its role in supporting the SDGs of the livestock sector, and assess the business feasibility of the business in Wilisia Multifarm, Madiun Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews with related informants, and documentation. The data consisted of waste management conditions, type and volume of waste, production process of Wil Komposter, investment costs, operational costs, business revenues, as well as social and environmental data. Data analysis was carried out through the application  of the Circular Economy concept  and business feasibility analysis using NPV, IRR, B/C Ratio, and Payback Period. The results of the study show that the management of goat manure waste into compost has applied the concept  of Circular Economy through the reuse of waste as a product that has use and economic value. The business feasibility analysis shows that Wil Komposter's business is feasible to be developed based on the value of the financial aspect of the positive NPV, the value of the IRR that exceeds the discount rate, the value of the B/C Ratio greater than one, and  the relatively short payback period. In addition, this waste management provides benefits from social aspects in the form of job opportunities and environmental benefits in the form of reducing livestock waste.
